Megan Schwan is the CEO and Founder of Sidekick Accounting Services. As a single Mom to 4 beautiful children she understands the necessity and benefit of running a profitable and successful company. Most businesses provide for families both the owners and the employees. Her mission and passion is changing the statistic that 8 out 10 small businesses fail and empowering other "regular" people to create the business of their dreams.

Megan is also a speaker, coach and published author. She pours into the small business communities providing education and support to starting and growing businesses. As your Accounting & Tax Sidekick she and her team are here to help you understand, use and grow!

When she is not working to change the world of small business she enjoys exploring new places and experiences with her kids!

Nicole has been part of the Sidekick Accounting Services team since 2014, supporting small business owners in setting goals and building toward their vision. She loves spending time exploring with her family and capturing meaningful moments through photography.

Karen has been part of the Sidekick Accounting Services team since 2022, supporting both the team and clients with a focus on streamlining processes and building efficient workflows. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and pets, along with embroidery, reading, and exploring nature.

Ty's passion is helping individuals and business owners navigate tax law and avoid overpaying while advocating on their behalf. Outside of work, she enjoys music, personal development, and spending time with her family—especially somewhere warm by the water.

Vicky has been part of the Sidekick Accounting Services team for over five years, helping small businesses keep their books in order and achieve success. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her energetic one-year-old daughter.

Elizabeth is a bookkeeper for Sidekick Accounting. When she's not working for Sidekick Accounting, she's helping her husband run his horse training stables and chasing around her two daughters. Her Goals for Sidekick Accounting is to help not only her own small businesses, but all small businesses succeed by helping them understand their numbers.

Kitira is a bookkeeper with a passion for organization. While most people see a pile of receipts, she sees an exciting puzzle. She thrives on turning financial chaos into clear, actionable data so our clients can focus on what they do best.

When she's not balancing the books, you’ll find her in her garden or enjoying quality time with friends and family. 

Cecilia has been part of the Sidekick Accounting Services team since 2025, supporting small business growth and development. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her children and staying actively involved in nonprofit work.
